With just a month’s time left some of us are preparing for our graduation! A very exciting time of celebration, while the majority of the students prepare for yet another semester. For us graduating we are pushing through these last weeks of school, looking forward to the day we finally put down our school books and celebrate the end of an era and the fact that we are not touching another coursebook for a while.
JU has been an experience of a lifetime, for three years we have built a life and met new people and experienced life in a different way tring to find ourselves in a way. Many moved away from their hometowns and built a life from scratch in Jönköping, now that is an accomplishment and takes a lot of courage. For my fellow students who are just finishing up your semester and getting ready for a new one in August, I wish you the best of luck and you can make it. Around this time next year you will probably think to yourself, “wow where did the time go?”, I know I have. My advice would be to enjoy your student life to the fullest and make the best of it. Because after Uni that’s when the real adult responsibilities kick in. As for my fellow graduates, we are almost at the finish line, which is a crazy feeling. We made it this far!
For me and a lot of other students, Jönköping has been a home for the past three years and I met some amazing people along the way. When I look back, I remember all the late nights, the long hours of nonsense and the good times. We all have our moments which we are fond of during our time here and that is a very special feeling, especially when you think back to the good memories. Some fun events that all students could look forward to in some shape or form was for example valborg. A lot of students gathered at hälsoparken to have a great time together while others maybe went and watched the “Majbrasa” somewhere in the city. Then of Course we can’t forget about exam periods or as some call it “tenta perioden”, when the library was full and campus was buzzing because of collective studying. I for a fact know the coffee machine in the library hated to see the students coming, considering it was always empty or out of stock when it came to the good coffee. Now all that stressing over a deadline or have I studied enough, is now coming to an end.
I think for many of us, we remember our kick off like it was yesterday and then wonder, where did the time go? All of sudden there is only one month left and we are preparing for the graduation ball and the actual graduation. It’s crazy how fast time flies when you mix fun and school. For all my fellow graduates I say, SPECTACULAR WORK and we finally made it! I know it wasn’t easy but here we are today at the finish line and that is something we should be proud of! Lastly, thank you JU for three amazing years mixed with all sorts of emotions, it has been a blast
