It’s that time of the year again! November has always been known around JU as the month of bi-annuals for student associations. And we are fastly approaching the last one of the season : JSA Bi-annual!
JSA is the Jönköping International Business School Student Association formed back in 2000 with the purpose of helping students JIBS students have the most interesting and rewarding time during their studies. It focuses mainly on educational quality, career opportunities, social activities, integration and internationalization. It is currently composed of 9 board members that switch periodically in order to avoid information loss.
For the fall Bi-annual, 4 new members will be elected as Vice President/Head of Education, Treasurer, Head of International and Head of Social. It’s going to take place in Kurt Johanssons Aula on the 14th of November at 5pm and if you are a bit confused about what exactly is happening, this is a meeting held every semester where JIBS students can make their voices heard, vote on proposals and future decisions for JSA, send motions and interpellations.
If you are still unsure whether to attend or not, we got a few words to encourage you from the current Vice President and Head of Education of JSA, Natálie Hamríková, who just happens to be looking for someone to take over her position:
‘I wish I could stay more and keep working on the projects we already started, even for a few more months. Being part of JSA is definitely a journey. But I hope to see a lot of interested and dedicated people at the Bi-annual this year , who are ready to improve the student life and change things for the better! Because this is the place to come make your voice heard. And also… WE HAVE FREE PIZZA!!’
