Loreleigh
Heyyy! I’m Loreleigh, I’m 22 years old in my first year of Global Studies at HLK. I’ve been at Edit a year now and I’m currently co-head writer. I’m pretty social and if you see me around campus come say hi, I’ll almost always say hi back (sometimes I’m a little oblivious to the world around me). My articles usually have a little humour to them because I’m soooo funny but if you don’t think I’m so funny please don’t tell me coz it might hurt my ego just a tiny bit. My biggest on campus recommendations would have to be – food from Arken, energy drinks from Beirut and ice coffee from Dalluci ALWAYS. As creative as I am I’m always open to article ideas so let me know if you have any!

Hey! My name is Vilma. The basics about me are — I am 24 years old. I am from a small town in southern Sweden. I study Media and Communications at HLK. And I am, together with Loreleigh, Head of Writers at EDIT. I have been a part of EDIT since my first semester at JU and I love it! Reading and writing has always been a huge part of me, and it is absolutely the best thing I know. I love how words can expand one’s world. How characters can resonate with you and your surroundings. And how you through the simple action of writing are able to express feelings and thoughts, while also gaining a greater understanding of yourself and the world around you. Besides being a writer, I am also a person who… Cannot bake, but wish I could. Gets obsessed with tv-series, currently it is Bridgerton. And lastly — Has remarkable Just Dance skills, although I have zero rhythm.

Hi! My name is Emma, and I’m a 22-year-old biomedical science student at Hälsohögskolan. I grew up in the small town of Vadstena, and ever since I can remember, I’ve loved reading and writing. When I’m not studying or writing, you’ll probably find me with a book in hand. Reading is my biggest hobby, and it inspires me to keep exploring new ideas and perspectives. I really like being a part of EDIT and I hope my articles brings you as much joy as it brings me.

Hi, it’s Silvia here. A bunch of things about me that you never asked for but I’d love to share: I’m 24 years old, studying Sustainable Communication at HLK, and writing for EDIT. Despite every drop of my blood being Italian, 9 out of 10 people wouldn’t guess it from my accent since I’ve spent the last four years moving around – traveling, working, and studying. Throughout all this time away from home, writing has been my bridge to my loved ones, sharing stories and tales from my adventures. I love hiking, cycling, and anything that gets me outdoors. And yes, I am the one who cycled from Italy to Jönköping. And if you do not know what I am talking about, you better get your hands on one of the copies of the newly released EDIT magazine!

Hey, I’m Ajay Sivakumaran Kumar, a 28-year-old from Kerala, a southern state in India. I’m currently pursuing master’s in International Logistics and Supply Chain Management at JIBS. I’m one of the writers at EDIT. To me, writing is more powerful than fire—it has the ability to spark change. Stadsbiblioteket and Knektaparken are my favourite places to relax and rejuvenate, so outside of the university, you can find me there. I started writing letters to editors from school level itself, and later I wrote articles to various newspapers in both my native tongue and English. My ambition was to become a journalist, but life took me in a different direction.

Hi! My name is Melina, and I am currently studying my third year in Graphic Design and Web-Development. I am 24 years old and from a small town in the south-east of Sweden. I joined the writers’ team because writing is a good way to break away from reality, and it is also fun to write something other than reports for a change. EDIT is an open space that allows you to explore various subjects and themes, meeting amazing people is the icing on top. When I am not studying you can find me in one of the many cafés in Jönöping, sustaining my subtle coffee addiction. I also enjoy baking and sometimes watch an unhealthy amount of the Great British Bake Off.

My name is Olha and I’m a Ukrainian international student studying graphic design and web development. I find writing very therapeutic and thought-provoking for both writers and their readers. Also, the opportunity to dive into different topics and approach them from various perspectives is especially exciting! My favorite hobby is collecting books faster than I can read them and constantly searching for more.

Hello! My name is Alexia, I’m 21 years old, born and raised in Athens, Greece and currently in my second year of the Civilekonom program in Jibs. I’ve loved journaling and writing since I was little, and in recent years, I’ve explored songwriting and developed a deep love for poetry. Writing helps me express myself and understand myself better, often revealing perspectives I wasn’t even aware that I had. If I had to choose one hobby besides writing, it would be singing. Whether I’m humming, singing along to my favorite songs, or creating my own lyrics, music is my second creative escape.

Hi! My name is Briana and I am currently one of the EDIT writers! I am 19 and I am from Romania, but have been studying in Sweden for a year and a half now. Although now I’m in my 2nd year in International Management at JIBS, when I was a kid I was set on becoming a writer, so I have tons of short stories and unfinished books in my drawers. My favourite food is anything sweet and I get extremely competitive when I play darts. Lastly, some little fun facts about me, most people actually call me Bri and I make a lot of decisions by flipping a coin.
