FUF challenges you to a quiz on International Women’s day

New year, new board. FUF, the association of development issues at JU, now presents their new board of 2021. With the purpose of spreading knowledge about development issues all around the globe, they now want to challenge you to a quiz on International Women’s day. 

FUF has been one of the associations at JU since 2019, but it’s a national organization, with the goal of spreading knowledge about development issues all around the globe, such as climate change, human rights, and equality. This they do by arranging events and lectures, booking speakers, and sharing news on their social media. On March 8^th, they are inviting the students to do their quiz related to the International Women’s day where the winner receives a prize.

“Tune in on our Instagram stories [@fufjonkoping] on Monday March 8^th, that’s where the quiz will be held”, says Andrea Fröberg, the Social Media Manager of FUF Jönköping.

The board meets every week, now through Zoom, discussing what’s happening in FUF around the country. Together with the other local FUF associations, such as Stockholm, Lund, and Uppsala, they also attend national meetings discussing development issues and how to keep FUF going. Everyone can join FUF as a national organization, but to become a FUF Jönköping member you need to wait till fall when they are opening up the applications. But everyone, member or not, can look forward to later this spring.

“We’re planning on having a bigger event later this spring with focus on the sustainable development goals, the ones that are intended to be achieved by 2030, among other things. The event will be open for everyone, both students and the general public, of course in a corona safe way. We’ll keep you updated with more information later on”, says Andrea Fröberg, the Social Media Manager of FUF Jönköping.
