For many of us, Halloween might be something we’ve only seen in movies or heard about from friends abroad. But this year, you don’t have to miss out on the fun! Our university is offering plenty of ways to experience the spooky season right here on campus – whether you’re into cozy movie nights, costume parties, or adventurous games, there’s something for everyone.
Our association is hosting a Halloween-themed movie night! Join us on October 30th at 6 PM in the JU Aula for a fun Halloween classic, but which one? Be there and find out! Free popcorn will be provided to complete the movie experience!
If you prefer something more upbeat, check out the Halloween celebrations at Akademien Nightclub. On October 29th, from 21:00 to 02:00, the club will host a themed night where you can wear your costume, meet new people, and enjoy some good music.
Won’t make it to that event? Don’t worry – Firebowl is hosting their own Halloween-themed event, Insane Asylum, on November 6th. The dress code is costumes, so get creative and bring your scariest or funniest look.
For something more interactive, Language Café is organizing a Halloween Treasure Hunt on Tuesday, October 28th, from 17:30 to 19:00. You can join as a team of 3–6 students – either form your own or sign up individually to get paired through RIO. Entry is free, and there will be prizes for the winners, so bring your competitive spirit!
And if you’d rather celebrate with friends in a more relaxed way, try some fun Halloween activities at home – carve pumpkins, make DIY decorations, or host a costume night with spooky snacks and games. It’s a great way to enjoy the season even if you’re not heading out.
No matter how you choose to celebrate, there’s something magical about this time of year, so put on your costume, grab your friends, and make this Halloween one to remember!
